In the 80’s we were making a holiday visit to Rob and Rebeccas’s place in Kasson, MN and everyone was having a great time. We don’t recall who all was there, but likely the entire Nesse family and some of Rebecca’s clan as well. After dinner, the adults remained around the table chatting and Lucas came, climbed into Rebecca’s lap and sat quietly. Then, at a break in the conversation, he asked “Mom, what’s blue that you can drink?” Rebecca quizzed him on this, and he replied “Well, John is in the kitchen drinking something blue.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pandemonium ensued, and Mona and Rebecca were the first to burst into the kitchen. John was standing on the counter in the corner, drinking a glass of blue liquid – with a huge smile on his face and laughter.
